Bio

I’m a postdoc at the University of Bristol working on the FORTRESS project. Before joining Selva lab I completed my PhD at the University of French Guiana working with the EcoFoG and AMAP joint research units in France. I’m particularly interested in using long-term datasets to understand how forests respond to climate change. During my PhD I used long-term plot census data and hierarchical Bayesian modelling to explore how biodiversity shapes tropical forest responses to climate. I’m now applying similar statistical methods to data a pan European network of tree sensors to understand how climate and local competitive environment constrain tree growth across the continent.
