Bio
I completed my BSc in Geographic Information Systems in China and later pursued an MSc in Geographic Data Science and Spatial Analytics at the University of Bristol. For my master’s research, I delved into applying deep learning techniques for image segmentation and classification of shrub species.
I am supported by a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council (CSC). My PhD builds on my experience in urban vegetation research and is now transitioning towards studying natural forest ecosystems, where I aim to develop advanced methods for analyzing and understanding forest dynamics.
Outside of my academic work, I play badminton and the piano. I also love traveling and hiking whenever I get the chance—it’s a great way to recharge and find new inspiration for my research.
